OB: Are these Ravagers you mention guys that are close to invincible, and use knives?

If so, then I remember that FF. It was really good. Really well written. I never finished it though. I can't remember why. 

If not, I'm thinking of a different FF.

Ok. The ones I'm thinking of were also a strange species of alien, but I'm pretty sure if they were the same one you'd have realised.

They had a similar name... maybe Reavers or something.

No, it's definitely not First Blood. I'd have remembered if it was. I read that obsessively. Loved it.

Except then I got as far as you'd written. And was very sad. 

I should start reading FFs again. I'd forgotten how much I liked them. 

EDIT: I do have some negative feedback though! I didn't like the way they were all named in it. It just seemed sorta... lame. And the names didn't quite fit with the story. Like, they were just thrown in there. The story was also a lot better before the action.
