- What the story is about breifly: In continuation of Halo: Pioneer, the crew of Pioneer are denied a moment's respite, and they are thrusted into action once more. This time with an ancient AI, known as Eran, the Watchman, as their sole source for guidance and information. What started out as a colonization project is now a resolve to unlock the mysteries of the origins of an enemy not yet discovered.
- Mainly focused around what universe: Halo: Echelon is, in a sense, contained in the well-known space opera of Halo. New ship designs, equipment, characters, etc. are all based on the familiarity of the Halo-verse.
- What race is the story about? Eg: If the universe is halo then "Humans" or "Covenant": Humanity, the Crath (an indigenous species to the planet Passium), and others that, if named, will give away too much plot
- Story Genre: Sci-Fi Action, Adventure
