What would the turrets do?

As Anders, I want you to make turrets. Your spending early game money that could be used for better eco, or units for map control. While your protecting you base, ill just use my hogs to grab hooks and expansions and counter you to death.

everyone like you act as if in the time this person had 6 hogs and 2 gremlins. forge has no units, and he cant have tanks hogs or air units. or any of the mix? of you forgeting carpet bomb. drop a carpet on the grems, the hogs die. your 3-4 tanks are out and walk to the enemies base, kill each gremlin as they come out then kill the main base...

 FJ ive played you many times, and never lost, your not good at 1v1, not good at 2v2, and heavin forbid you ever play 3v3, you would get anihilated.

you can have 4 tanks and a 5th coming out at 5 minutes, maybe your bad at forge builds?

and you cannot tell when the carpet is coming, and gremlins are slow.

I agree, it's exactly what I do. Use a turret as a distraction while pumping hogs, or if you see the gremlins lining up, carpet bomb, bring out the tanks and the gremlins have a much harder time. However some anders players will not attack like that, they wait for you... it depends.

I stopped using forge, except for hog and marine rushes.

Hmmm... lets see. 

 Okay first lets give this guy HSP at the start of the game. (Becuase he really needs that money) 

Next lets give him Grizzleys, the most OP unit in HW. Honestly. Its ridiculus that Grizzlies can defeat a squad of hunters with well placed Micro CS abilities. You might as well give Hornets a special ability that instantly obliterates Wolverines.

 And now, lets give him one of the most frustrurating Leader Powers in the game. 

 

Explain how he ISN'T overpowered.   

I have played Forge probably more than anyone else in the world lol.

I have two accounts with 41 trueskill in 1v1 standard.

He is NOT OP.

look at the leaderboards, top 20 has no forge players, only Anders, prophets, and the occasionally arby or brute.

Now, even though Anders is greater than forge in 1v1, there are only two top Anders I have not beat yet, one is iEchoic and the other is buster NZLs accounts(although I have faced him once using forge maybe?) Prince doesnt count because he boosted there, you know why I know hes not that great? I almost beat him using Forge and top Anders should never lose to Forge(iEchoic).

Forge isnt best vs covie imo. its anders. I still lose to 42+ trueskill covy='(

I've typed this like 120371724 times, so I'll just copy and paste from an old post of mine:

People are so confused by Hunter vs Grizzly, though so I'll explain. They're both counters to each other (tank vs infantry and hunter vs vehicle), so equal army costs will take each other out. Since it's grizzlies, we'll assume hunters have assault beam. It takes 2-3 hunters per grizzly to take them out. 2 hunters cost the same amount as a grizzly, but use slightly less population, so you need just a few more than twice as many hunters. Look at the math people; they're perfectly balanced.

Carpet bomb can't hit air, and is spread out so it's only good in certain situations, plus you get a little warning. It's plenty balanced.

Warthogs? Not at all. 6 Grizzlies blew up 30 lastnight. This is AFTER the Hunter Attack. And If you are good with forge, you won't focus on upgrading to grizzleis ASAP.  I prefer to mix about 3 Spartan Scorpians and about 5 hornets to prevent an early attack. 

 In the late game he is EXTREMELY overpowered. 

nope, a late game cutter should always beat a late game forge or Anders.
