If they're overused in this forum then i didn't know bc I never come to the library. But they weren't a failure. They were used on suicide missions in which they accomplished their goals, along with dying.

I recall several SPARTAN-III's surviving and completing their objective, so the others failed, which were 95% of them. The project failed.
