    studmuffin:we tried cobras, we had 7 locked down but they always got swarmed and halfway dead before even locking down, cobras suck only hornets really do the trick to tanks but wolves make sure they dont do the trick =(

    you could try building more scorpians than they have, its done the trick for me plenty of times.

    I looked at the stats.

    They enemy team had no unit for 6 mins. That was your chance to win

    what are you talknig about they rushed us and we prepared and held it off without alot fo money spent at all and nothing be killed, then I got alot fo banshee's and vamps and attacked but my attack was short lived when the brute vortexed me and the wolves startted pouring in and all we had besides my wraityhs vamps and banshees was a mono arby tech one at 7 minutes against canister tanks and my other teamate who only had a elephant out (dont know what he was doing really.

    There was no tanks, wolvs, banshees or hunters before around 6 mins, so the rush couldnt of been strong.

    Cutter should of gone hogs or spammed canister tanks.

    and it was not a bad rush, they had a blessed POR and 6 EHG and the brute had like 4 brutes  and there was also a random sentianal, it dosnt seem strong from the strats seeing as we prepared for a rush, I was making banshee's and vamps and had alot at the six minute mark (about 10 banshee's and aa couple vamps) but I couldnt really do anything becasue vamps dont do alot agsinst anything but air and I had limited banshee's. Like I said we didnt rush we got rushed. we didnt really have a counter attack force.

    This has now become my most favorite build as a Forge/Cutter player, if your building tanks, expect to see AIR, and the best counter for Air as UNSC, my god, wolves and scorpions were made to play togther!

    I was Arby and I had no trouble killing Chieftan's army or Prophets army. I had them taken care of, we needed someone to take out Forge, I was doing my role fine.

    didnt say what, for cutter to make hogs and tanks, I can tell you I did but he didnt and I couldnt tell what he doing at that point he just kinda sat there

    and arby and my brute is what stopped the rush along with a turret he had put up, and some flamers (yes the flamers were needed, I lsot my brute to the rush which sucked)

    I couldnt take out forge becuase of his wolves and I was to distracted with the covie leaders, I think what breally screwed us is rocking thunder with not enough units or the right units out.

    That elephant he built was useless. He felt the need to capture the middle with his marines but when he captured it their leaders were already on our side...

    And it was no problem for the tanks to get past the middle. And whenever he came across his tanks when he had cobras they were never locked down. When he was locking them down half of them already died by canister.

    To take Forge late game, what may have worked would be using fully teched Spartanks, along with regular Scorpions, and then getting a view on Forge's reactors, double MACing each, and effectively cutting off his flow of Grizzlies/Wolves for a while. It would take a lot of resources to get back up to that point, and even if he has 10,000 at that point, at least it's like 30 seconds of no more reinforcements. You just would have had to act fast.

    Other than that, yeah, having your buddy not go solo-Arby in the late game would have helped. Once you have a steady resource flow, the counter to the only guy you don't have covered is always a good idea. My former 2v2 partner and I figured out between us that you always want to have the Covenant player on your team go anti-vehicle.

    I had tier 2 Arby very soon after their rush failed and we were killing Chieftan's base. The only reason it took me kind of a while is because I was raging most of that match killing things. Encrypted did shit that match.

    PoR is anti infantry.

    So going flamersto defend the rush wasnt a good idea. Thats where all your money was. Cutter should of ethier made hogs to attack the bases, or spammed tanks, and gained tank lead over the Forge player.

    Once their rush was gone, you should of had no trouble building up some Brutes to attack, or delay forge while your Cuttr gained tank lead.
