    I can't come up with my own idea. Obviously, they're too slow. If you increse their speed it becomes a) Unrealistic (not really a problem) and b) Unfair.

    If you massively increase their damage, which seems to be the other solution, that opens up a whole boat of problems.

    I personally thing that the answer lies in the Pelican; it needs a massive buff. It needs to be so much stronger that it's viable to take it into hot-zones. It needs to carry more units, or send enough Pelicans to take all selected. It could charge by the unit. It also needs a speed increase, and possibly the ability to drop into the FoW.

    That's what I'd do.

    I posted this on another Infantry thread. I'm not saying it's a good idea, just a possible one.

    here are my suggestions

    make them more resistant to air units

    make it possible for marines to get on worthogs like the scout warthog and able to get on the tanks or air craft like on the sides or the wings of the tanks and air craft

    or put a speed boost like 10 to 30 percent faster or u can make it possible for the marines to run

    and make it possible for the grenades or rockets to cluster out like a mini aftershock so the explosion can damage more than one aircraft and make the tanks resistant to that cluster just to keep it balanced

    those are my ideas

    Yeh, You place a squad of five marines in the Hog and there you go;

    The power is still there to counter the air units and you have improved mobility...

    Simple

    infantry are actually pretty balanced in theory. Problem is, the warthogs and covy heros completely screw up everything balancewise. Every problem in the game is the result of those two.

    This has nothing to do with Warthogs or Heros, we're saying that infantry can't catch their main target. Nobody's even mentioned 'Hogs or Heros!

    And yes, they may be balanced in theory, but that's the problem. All the numbers and facts might be balanced, but in a real situation, Infantry can't do their job well enough.

    i think the pelican should be able to transport units and for infantry drop transsport hogs that take pop that would even it out except u would have to increase the price
