Re: will Marty O'Donnell be contributing to the Music?

I hope so. Marty O'Donnel is one of the best composers around.

While i love Marty O'Donnell's music above all other game music, i do have faith that the team doing the music for this game, will do a really good job with it.

    Music - Where's the music?

First of all I am a huge HALO fan and if bungie trusts you guys to make a great addition to the HALO family I am all for it.  I have watched the trailer over and over and I was missing something.  The CG work was great and it was great to see the type of environment that will be created but I got to say without Mr Odonnel's music it feels a little dry.  I went back and watched the Halo 3 trailer and a huge part of the trailer is how the music score pulls you along.  This looks like a great project and I am already a huge fan, but we need better music.

When the marine is being killed by the Elite, a variaton of the music plays.

But yes, I agree that it seemed to lack the same musical flair.  Still, an incredible trailer.  I would actually be pleased if the movie were made this way--it looks so believeable!

    I completely agree.

Halo just isn't Halo without Marty.

Really, even though it comes no-where near Marty I thought the music was pretty good for the scene it was showing, suited it well. It was sorta eerie.

Those first few seconds of the music sound like they came straight out of the Matrix....? (I think)
