They are well balanced. It's just that when people use the most obvious tactic (which doesn't mean it's bad) they will go crying over how much the tactic they got owned with is overpowered.

anyway cov cause my gameplay is good as cov including the arbiter,i like their units including locust and anti units they rock.

they have super units that take time to get to but once you get them they are pretty dominant

their units are more expensive but late in the game normally late in the game thats not a problem since your income should be through the roof and well after you get the reinforcements upgrade where units take less time to make than the unsc can spit them out quicker...

Well I like UNSC i can Own Cov there scarabs never have a chance u should thow upgrade your turrets to large so your bace is more protected if you can make grizlys syclopses and a vulture your proty much good if thay come to atatck you how ever if u want to attack there bace it would be helpfull if u upgrade your leader power.

its funny how u all say cov for rushing but its most of u posters complaining about being rushed by hogs....personally i play as COV and not once rush, and as far as scarabs vs vultures DUH lol 1 vs potentially 25 hawks, ill take ur hawks anyday with my locusts ;)  but UNSC seems to have better late game abilities i wont argue that

Yeah I have played with Cov and not rushed and done fine but I havn't done a lot of 2v2 and 3v3 because it takes so freaking long to find a match.

a mix that way you have a mixture of strengths and your teammates cover your weaknesses

Everyone has their play style, there isnt a better, beilive it or not people its all balanced

Just play each one and see which u like most

 They can all rush -.- cov just have the easier time, but, it can happen as UNSC, i did a marine rush and killed his base faster than he killed mine (he was using arbiter)

Cov are amazing early, but start to flatten end game

UNSC have their problems early, but at the end will destroy you as cov if u didnt get them early, pretty much how it works

They are balanced, they are both the same in easiness to use, and the hard to master.

ES did the factions VERY well.

I think both are alright, just depending on who uses them... but I think all for all, two equally skilled players going at it, I would have to say...

 

UNSC.

 

But why?

I think that UNSC are better in the long term because the covenant are really only good for rushing. If the UNSC fends the rush off, its game over for the covy. Not only because the rush failed but because the covy dropped all its resources. I remember my first game on Xbox live as UNSC I fended off a decent prophet rush and they resigned. Lol.

 
 But later on Covys are pretty dead. Even a fully upgraded arbiter cannot stand to 4 mac blasts, or two vulture barrages, or well... yeah you get the point. Sure a covenant can drop a scarab, but really, scarabs suck. 3000 resources can be kill by 4 mac blasts (600 res) or two vultures (1800 res) and plus any covenant vehicle, the thing that CAN stand up to UNSC will get raped by a spartan. hm...

 

And finally, the covenant empire will collapse to a well enough army of hawks, grizzlys, or ODST's
