Actually thats a cool name. I hope there will be a sequal. with more units, more factions, and something thrown in there to make it fun. Like wht if it where 20 years after halo 3, and the rebels attacked humanity and the elites were fighting the unified covenant and the forrunner and flood were fighting (their are still flood on other halo's and containment facilities and alot of forrunners who were hiding in shield worlds like onix)

How the hell would you be able to fit in a Halo Wars 2? After the first Halo Wars, the story goes on until the first Halo game. You probably wouldn't fit another in.

This is also very true. We know (I think) that Halo Wars isn't localized on Harvest, and that there's no way the game can cover every battle that's taking place in every location on the planets.

Well, there is an achievement titled "Bring on the Sequel" when you get 100% completion (I assume that means getting all the other achievements). As of this point in time however, I consider this to be the only indication as to the likelihood of a sequel and as per the current situation, it would ultimatly be up to Microsoft.

Forgive me...I must not have enough skill in detecting sarcasm in text.

Halo achivements are meant to be jokes....ok sure thats true, but come on.

"Bring on the sequel"....is just a retarded achievment if they dont plan to make another.

You seriously can't say to me that you didn't think the 'Go ape siv' achievement in Halo 2 Vista wasn't a joking one. The same goes with quite a few other such as the new ones for Halo 3.

How can they create another when they no longer exist?
