Second chapters in the works, but got lots of school, and it's chugging along slowly. Man, I'm so disappointed in this site. All the seniors stopped posting, and we get ten newbies every hour. I don't get it. I mean, when I joined this site, I already knew a lot about the Haloverse. For Christ sake, people are STILL coming here and talking about how "stupid it is that they're making another Halo FPS". I may have less than 200 posts, but at least I'm knowledgeable. I just joined late and don't spent hours a day on this site.
And now, I don't see a single thread that has any participants with more than 20 posts. Increasingly stupid user names, and a continually degrading collective ability to spell and use the search bar are slowly consuming and destroying this site, leaving in it's wake an empty husk of a dead forum, being picked to the bones by the jackals and vultures that first infected it with this horrible disease.
Look: If you're not that into Halo or Halowars, and you're the guy who says, "dude, I just skipped the cut scenes. I just wanted to shoot the little robot guys" than you shouldn't join a Halo fan site. But for the most part, we're being suffocated by ten year olds whose minds have been eaten from the inside out by the internet. Kids who can't type in complete sentances, who use 'lol' and 'ftw' every other sentance, and have a complete lack of knowledge about even the things they start threads about.
And on a side note, can Ensemble just come through and lock or destroy all the year old threads? All this necro-ing and overpopulation needs to stop.
