well i dont know how they would introduce the s III well. they r supposed to be ultra secret. i could see them being like an easter egg. like u walk in a mission and u see a shadowy object walk across the screen.

Well, they may be super secret, but if Earth is lost, all is lost. Even Ackerson realizes this. Perhaps the 315 unaccounted for Spartan-IIIs are bound for Earth as soon as the word comes down that it is under attack. John-117 leaves Earth hardly after the battle begins and ends up on Delta Halo, and is only just getting back to Earth, so perhaps the Spartan-IIIs have arrived. Or, perhaps while he is on Earth the Spartan-IIIs arrive and aid him. Imagine the Halo 3 Trailer, except instead of whiting out, you suddenly see like 300 Spartan-IIIs decloak behind John-117 and they go charging at the complex.

that would be insane, and u r right with the way the war is going they will be the last ditch effort, maybe we could send them to take over every covie ship, i mean if the MC could take one over with a small squad of marines then two s III ans about fifty marines should be able to tak over one. Which means they could capture 150 covie ships which could be the gettysburg of the covie human war.

yes the spartans will re-apear. anyone who buys the OXM for 360 will have read the Halo 3 article where the writers of the mag were shown 10 seconds of pure footage from the game heres a quote:

"That Bungie showed us the first ever footage of Halo 3 single player was a big surprise. They added if we blinked we'd miss it. The clip began with master chief  spraying bullets around everywhere from the mounted turret of a highly detailed warthog. It charged into what looked like a large open aired multi-level industrial warehouse.The area was rammed ful of covenant enemies, vehicles and ships. World War III was kcking off before our eyes. yea id like to know that too. there is three spartans other than John that have the possiblity of being in halo 3. otherwise they r in the *spoiler*. aka fred  and the rest of them, dont want to ruin the story.

I'd love to see MCPO John get some back-up. I mean, the poor guy doesn't get much in the games[other than a few Marines that die too quickly]. Hell, he doesn't even get laid! I know, I know, he has a 'suppressed sex drive' but that doesn't mean he should be 40+ years old and still a virgin!
