Where do you see that the object is actually interacting with the wraith?

All I see is a line of blue light, which might be plasma.

Arty.  It does look a bit weird, like its shadow for instance.  But the colours and its position look like they're meant to be the Cyclops.

They're machine gun marines.

The Cyclops is a mech, these are two marines carrying a bigger weapon.

 

yea i didnt think they where cyclops because the one in the first pic looks like sparten amor except it looks like the helmets panaramic

Looks like a dinosaur, doesn't it.

It cant be a hill since it has a unique shadow, but it does have spikes on it.

It is a cut down tree, the shadow matches the other trees, just look.

What about it's legs?  That's another thing that makes it look different to trees.
