Look at dialouge in particular. Half Life was a major source of inspirtaion, not surprising since it's my favorite video game series just above Halo.

I've only got into half-life  recently, with the release of the Orange box for the 360. And I enjoyed Half-life 2 and the two episodes greatly, they were good in both gameplay and story and it's nice to see those subtle references that fellow Half-life players will pick up on. As well as the Halo/ Half-life dialogue n it.

I would like to see more of the Human-Flood war as I felt it was only briefly touched in Defence of Humanity.
