    Mr. Magorium:

That was very well written indeed.

As I've always said, Jeteye's a talented writer. That's why I was disapointed to see his work wasn't in the fan-fic poll.

I did suggest it a few times.

I also like the subtle Half-life references. (Adrian Sheppard was the name of the hero in one of the original Half-life expansion packs. Jeteye said he was based on him, as well as commander sheppard from mass effect)

(Sandtraps, Highway 17 and our Benefactors are all chapter names in Half-life 2)

Very good Jeteye, I applaud you, from one writer to another, well a semi-retired writer to another.

There are quite a few Half Life references scattered throughout The Defense of Humanity. You've found a lot but there are still more to find for those who are commited. Look at dialouge in particular. Half Life was a major source of inspirtaion, not surprising since it's my favorite video game series just above Halo.

In other news, even though I'm probably not making any more Novella's, I may continue to create 'short stories' of sorts relating to, as I said before, the Human and Flood War.

I've only got into half-life  recently, with the release of the Orange box for the 360. And I enjoyed Half-life 2 and the two episodes greatly, they were good in both gameplay and story and it's nice to see those subtle references that fellow Half-life players will pick up on. As well as the Halo/ Half-life dialogue n it.

I would like to see more of the Human-Flood war as I felt it was only briefly touched in Defence of Humanity.

    Very good indeed.

    That's a shame, but I like

Anyways, I'll get stated on something this weekend. My Xbox is scheduled to return from the repair place in Texas today so I'll be rocking Halo 3 instead of writing.
