it cant be the grunts homeworld because they breathe Methene and we saw marines with no breath masks on, also the Flood wont be there because it before Halos were found and flood were known.

I'm gonna have to say sidewinder since it is a frozen world and they wouldn't have it be on the grunts homeworld as the covenant had by the time the war started brought the grunts into their heiarchy.If they had inhabited their planet they would have met up with the grunts

They never said the trailer was the the start of the game. But it kinda leads it that way.

Opps i didnt mean it that way i just meant to say that the covenant were not found they attacked us on our soil halo was barely discovered on that game.... halo. also its said that the game  is at the start of the war which is basicly us loss alot of ground.. and lives

 -it took place before the fall of reach because there are multiple spartans in it.

 -it is not on a covenant planet because the humans had never been to one before halo.

 By doing this, we can tell that it is on one of the human planets the covenant attacked before the fall of reach/halo

ummm if this took place BEFORE fall of reach then we wouldnt be face covenant.. also we've never been on a covenant planet before closest thing we got to is high charity
