Exactly, though I prefer to call them 'models' it makes me fell less of an anohrac.

I got quite a few of the joyride studios ones for Halo 2, and they look nice on my selves.

I hope to get the new Halo 3 ones by Mcfarlene to add to my collection!

Meh...they're really cool looking, but I'm not so sure about picking them up. I don't think the issue is that I'm too old for action figures -- I think that a lot of older people who pick them up do so because they make good collectible items, not necessarily because they're fun to play with.

I'm into Halo, but I don't think that I would really go for that thar merch :/

Not in my opinion, I really like them, just for display purposes, they look really cool, the chief and arbiter right next to each other, I can't wait to see some of the Halo 3 ones, as they look better than the Joyride ones.
