I'm really not trying to be rude, butI promise, if I see a single squirell inflict so much as a scatch on a fully armored marine, I will microwave my disk.
I can see a territorial creature maybe running at a marine or an elite, but it better run away or die when shots are fired. This isn't BFME II, this i not a game about a magical fairy tale war between marines and animals, this is Halo. We are fighting against the covenant, never should anything else pose a threat, unless it's the flood, or has something to o with the story arch in general. Just give me the enemy, and throw in some ambetient life to add life and flavor to the map.
ALL scavengers and heard animals should flee when they hear a gunshot, and if a predetor is nearby when it goes off, he charges, but he should always be killed before he reaches the marine. Maybe every couple thousand years he will get luck and dive into a weak sopt in the marines back when no one is looking.
Bottom line, no commander should think twice about moving through an animal's den, or worry when he catches sight of a wolf. They shouldn't take sides, they shouldn't be agressive, and they should not even attempt to attack a human or covenant soldier unless they are a predetor, they are nearby, and they are desprate. In no circumstances shall they kill anyone, or become a huge part of the game. Ambetient life should blend in naturally with the map, livining it up a little.
I have no problems with ambetient life, or predetors charging a marine, but everyone is making it sound like they should be a third faction.
