Don't see what's so wrong about it, but if it disturbs you, then fine, I wont.  I was only randomly stumbling upon old topics, when I found this one to be particularly interesting, not knowing it was old.  

sorry if i sounded mean but there are other things that could be up here instead. just post on the recent topics, thats what i do

Ok, he did not necro the thread, he added information that helped the topic. So that is not wrong, and as long as someone doesn't do this to a pointless thread and adds good info that is ok. Also recent topics may be dead at times when nobody is on, when you have posted on all the interesting threads that are recent you start to look for others. Just like JamesFletcher did. So give a little leniency when it comes to adding good info to an old thread, ok?

It is funny, because when guys repost stuff, they are yelled at and told to use the search bar, and when they use the search bar and post in an old thread, they are yelled at and told not to post in old threads. It's a lose-lose situation.
