ern the elites thgat attacked alpha base where spec op elites and some where stealth elites with spc op grunts with them no jackels or hunters,

And ODST's won against spec op covies thats an impressive feat and john was no where near the base or fights at the time as he was looking for the control room saving keyes or blowing up halo

Halopedia is not necessarily a reliable source of information, but if you want to use that then halopedia says an elite minor is equal to an ODST.

That makes Spec-ops better.

If it was the one where the Elites went in to try and take out the ODST main base, then I believe there wasn't that many of them (Like 3 Spirits from memory), and the ODSTs had the advantages of all the defences that they'd built. Also, they set fire to the place where they were landing or something I believe (shows great resourcefulness, but not going to help much in a straight up fight, and certainly not for anything other than defence).

 There is no such thing as a fair fight. Remember that. Each battle can be different, each battle is under different circumstances.

Thats the fight yea but come on they still won and there was another battle after that where they got attacked by the flood and another where a convoy got attacked but destroyed the ambush with just 4 scorpian tanks.

But i agree different battles mean different outcomes but the underdog can win even when the odds are stacked against em
