The only mention of the Brute's previous status was to the fact that they were Space-faring, meaning they were at least Tech 3. However this is debunked when they were absorbed into the Covenant and were restored to Tech 2. Semantics, they chose their words carefully.

The only reason they were considered Native Tech 4 was because that was the state they had most recently reached before going into the Covenant.

They NEVER REACHED TEIR 2 they were to stupid to reach teir 2. Maybe teir 3 but not 2 go to halopedia and check it out

Perhaps you should read from direct sources though, Halopedia is a terrible liar with things, they assume so much it deviates from the main point. It's a good reference, but not a good source of canon, for further evidence you have to dig deeper. But that's the problem with people these days they would rather summaries and biased opinions then reading from the source simply because they are lazy.

I am not saying oh i am right time to dance. I am trying to prove you wrong because i know brutes could not have made it past the humans in technology, not the jackals, or grunts either. Covenant species are smart together. When they joined the covenant that is when they got to teir 2, but by themselves no one reached teir 2 except prophets and elites.

Well based on a timeline the Brutes had passed the Humans, when the Humans were Tech 4 the Brutes were Tech 3. However I'm still fishing around for my Bestiarium that came wth my Halo 3 Legendary edition. Nothing so far so the Brutes' max tech as it stands we'll say is 3 until I can find this blasted thing.
