Hey, whats the most effective way to counter the early Anders Hog rush (1:30) when playing as PoR on Chasms? Is warehouse temple warehouse early blessed imo capture hook early get shield back up and then deal with the hogs the bast way? And where should i go from there? Hunters and jackals? Similiar advice for tundra and blood gulch would be appreciated-thanks

get blessed imo as soon as you can but make sure you have base defences. build a few hunters to kill hogs and a few jackals behind the hunters for the flamethrowers if they make any and get both hooks.

tundra

wh wh turret t wh turret, wait and get a tech 2 prophet while harrasing then build 2 halls as you upgrade to fortress just make hunters and jackals again.

 

blood gulch

t wh wh turret wh wh , get the suply hook asap, then the reacter hook.

get fortress and build get beam jackals and wraiths and locust because the map is really nice for locust attack.

ya get tech 2 of both, the turrets will be diagonal and fuel rod when you can get the upgrade.

if you see a air pad, just delete one hall for a summit and get vampiers, if you don't have tech 2 then get a factory and ghosts

Gumbi do NOT listen to Whitemage you will fail miserably.. wait for tech 2 on tundra? WTF a good anders would finish you before you got to tech 2 since all you have is 2 turrets and a prophet. I gave up on POR vs Anders for now. (Switched to anders) Seriously and waiting till fortress to get unit producing units is fail also get it on your 4th or 5th slot. I used to play POR and i tried a lot of different BO's and they work for the beginning but you are so far down economically that come the 10 min mark your wiped out and if you DO manage to survive you will be forced into a turtle till she steamrolls you because she has map control while you are at 1 base. Also Pirth just resign.. lol

Rofl your prob right i couldnt beat her but i can guarantee i never have any trouble with any other leader and now that im playing anders she's not even a problem.

@ Mage You couldnt even beat me with prophet and i was Arbiter LOL or any match-up for that matter. I'll be CUTTER and you can be anders and i'll win your Bad get out of here no one wants your crappy advice go get a ts higher then 2 please and come back.

 

@ Gumbi on tundra i'd go wh-tur-wh-t-tur-h-wh and rush with prophet DON'T let them get that mega turret it can make your rush fail (happened to me once never again). You only need about 2 hunters to take care of hogs then just pump jackels since flamers are the real threat. Flamers are what end your rush not hogs.

in POR vs anders jsut get bless then turrets, and go temple first on hook maps, if it's a map like chasms or blood glutch then it's a pretty equal battle but if it's a big map with no hooks like tundra then you only chance really is turtle with one turret then blessed (normally other way around) the exception is pirth were you have a VERY slim chance but hey you can try. if they double base as anders on that map double base aswell becas you will ahve the time, and get the reactor hook for 3 minute tech 2 POR with two bases (no upgrades to warehouses) and that way your protected from hogs and flamers pretty well, then go for hall and summit and make somthing out of there that will best suit how many of a certain kind of unit they have, if they ahve alot of flamers with not alot of hogs make banshee's and jackels and if they have alot of hgos with not alot of flamers thengo for jackels plus hunters and if they have air gremlins and stuff then go for pure air. it will be hard to stop just watch out for cryo

that is good but with no turrets they will just run around your base and then your screwed because you can't catch them and just lose WH's.
